The AI Readiness & Psychological Safety Diagnostic assesses how prepared individuals and teams are to adopt and responsibly use AI in the workplace.

It measures five key dimensions:

  1. Curiosity to Reinvent – Assesses openness to technological change, willingness to explore new AI tools, and proactive sharing of ideas vs. resistance and passive observation.

  2. Everyday AI Confidence – Measures understanding of AI tools, confidence in interpreting outputs, and ability to explain or teach others about AI usage.

  3. Using AI to Learn & Improve – Evaluates habits of experimentation, documenting learnings, and refining processes versus fixed, repetitive usage patterns.

  4. Ethical Use & Awareness – Gauges awareness of fairness, transparency, and bias in AI systems, and the likelihood of speaking up when AI-generated results feel wrong or harmful.

  5. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing – Looks at team-level behaviors like sharing discoveries, running informal training, and encouraging psychologically safe discussions around AI adoption.

By evaluating behaviors rather than opinions, the diagnostic reveals whether employees are passive observers, cautious adopters, or proactive innovators.

It also highlights gaps in fairness awareness, psychological safety, and the willingness to speak up about AI-related risks.

Overall, the tool provides actionable insights into both individual readiness and organizational culture, helping leaders identify where support, training, and governance are most needed to ensure safe, effective, and equitable AI integration.
